Pakistani-American Journalists Team Launches Press Media Group (PMG) in Washington

(AdeebMedia) – Pakistani-American journalists formed and launched the Press Media Group (PMG) USA – a Washington-based forum of journalists and scholars – during their special meeting, which was held on Tuesday, 09 October 2018 at a Pakistani restaurant in Lorton, Virginia, United States of America (USA).

Co-Founders, Founding Members and Directors of the Press Media Group (PMG) USA are 7 noted Pakistani-American journalists: Mr. Syed Alim Adeeb (Chief Editor – Information Media), Mr. Asad Chaudhry (TV Anchor – Next TV), Mr. Kashif Sohail (TV Producer – Media TV), Mr. Asim Siddiqui (TV Producer – Aaj TV USA), Mr. Umar John (TV Producer – Next TV), Mr. Kausar Javaid (Washington Bureau Chief – Pakistan News) and Mr. Jahanzaib Ali (Washington Correspondent – ARY News TV).

PMG cordially invites female journalists and women scholars to join the PMG.

PMG First Formation Meeting

The PMG establishment meeting was organized and co-hosted by Asad Chaudhry and Syed Adeeb. PMG is an independent, non-political, non-partisan, non-religious, non-sectarian, non-controversial, non-profit, international/global platform of all those journalists and scholars (subject specialists) who can work together through the PMG network for their professional journalism/scholarship, mutual interests, common causes, human-rights and joint activities.

PMG Directors will Webcast a weekly series of Web video television programs to inform, educate and enlighten millions of viewers/listeners about various subjects, issues, problems and reforms. PMG has set up its Website, Facebook discussion forum, e-mail newsletter and WhatsApp network. PMG Directors will also initiate the PMG special projects, hold journalists-scholars discussion meetings, organize media-community interactive conferences and introduce new products or services.

PMG will support/endorse joint activities, programs and projects of Pakistan Press Club Washington (PPCW), 4th Pillar, Pakistani American Press Club (PAPC – New York) and many other press-media organizations based in the USA, Canada, Pakistan and other countries of the world.
