US State Department Confirms Farahnaz Ispahani is an American Citizen
Is PPPP MNA Farahnaz Ispahani, wife of Husain Haqqani, serving Pakistani or American interests in the Presidency and the National Assembly of Pakistan?
SYED ADEEB
(AdeebMedia.com Special Report) – Pakistani (PPPP) MNA Ms. Farahnaz Ispahani, the wife of PPP former envoy to Washington DC, Husain Haqqani, is an American Citizen/National, according to the US State Department Diplomatic List (a blue book about almost all foreign diplomats in the USA) of Spring 2011, dated, 7 April 2011.
Farahnaz Ispahani is an unelected Member of the National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan from Karachi, Sindh. She is a part of a gang of 60 unelected female MNAs who were appointed to their 60 reserved seats for women on the basis of favoritism or nepotism, without any relevant merits, by male leaders of Pakistani political parties. She is a Member of the NAP Standing Committee on Human Rights, Foreign Affairs, Information and Broadcasting. She is a Media Advisor to PPP Co-Chairman/president Asif Ali Zardari. She also acts like a personal/private secretary and a spokeswoman of Zardari. Her personal profile, published in the Pakistan National Assembly website, states:
“Name: Mrs. Farah Naz Ispahani (MNA). Permanent Address: 42/1, Street No. 18, Khayaban-e-Mujahid, Phase-V, DHA, Karachi. Local Address: E-303, Parliament Lodges, Islamabad. Religion: Islam. Province: Sindh. Constituency: 1. Party: PPPP (Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians).”
However, some Pakistani citizens and advocates may file petitions (lawsuits) in Pakistan Supreme Court, High Courts and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to request Pakistani judges/justices and the ECP to disqualify Farahnaz Ispahani as an MNA of Pakistan, a Media Advisor, a private/personal secretary and a spokeswoman of PPP Co-Chairman/president Asif Ali Zardari, because she is a National/Citizen of the United States of America (USA), and because she has deliberately violated Articles 6 (High Treason), 62, 63 and 65 (Oath) of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Article 62 of the Pakistan Constitution partly states: “Qualifications for membership of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament): (1) A person shall not be qualified to be elected or chosen as a member of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) unless – (a) he is a citizen of Pakistan; (b) he is, in the case of the National Assembly, enrolled as a voter in any electoral roll in: 1. any part of Pakistan, for election to a general seat; and 2. any area in a Province from which she seeks membership for election to a seat reserved for women.”
Farahnaz Ispahani canNOT be allowed to vote in Pakistan elections as a Pakistani voter and in US elections as an American voter at the same time.
Article 63 of the Pakistan Constitution partly states: “Disqualifications for membership of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament): (1) A person shall be disqualified from being elected or chosen as, and from being, a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament), if: (c) he ceases to be a citizen of Pakistan, or acquires the citizenship of a foreign State.”
Pakistan Parliament has not amended Pakistan citizenship clauses of Articles 62, 63 and 65 of Pakistan’s Constitution through any constitutional amendment. Therefore, Pakistani former and current tyrants – Pervez Musharraf, Shaukat Aziz, Asif Ali Zardari, Yusuf Raza Gilani, etc. – have NO constitutional powers or legal authority to issue any ordinance or order to authorize any citizen or national of the USA, UK, or any other foreign country to become an MNA, Senator, MPA, Speaker, Minister, Chief Minister, Judge/Justice, Auditor-General, military officer, Army General, or Governor of Pakistan. An ordinance or order about Pakistan citizenship or dual nationality, reportedly issued by PML-Q/MQM-A illegal ex-president General (R) Pervez Musharraf, is unconstitutional, illegal, null and void, because it violates Articles 62, 63 and 65, and it canNOT supersede the Constitution, which is the supreme law of Pakistan.
Pakistani (PPPP) MNA Farahnaz Ispahani took the following US Citizenship & Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America in the USA to become a US Citizen/National:
“I [Farahnaz Ispahani] hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the armed forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.”
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Naturalization Guide points out: “Every naturalization candidate is required to recite the Oath of Allegiance to become a US citizen. The Oath of Allegiance must be recited at a formal naturalization ceremony in front of a USCIS official. Once recited, USCIS will issue you a Certificate of Naturalization.”
The US State Department Diplomatic List: “This publication covers foreign missions (embassies, interest sections) in the United States. It contains the names of members of the diplomatic staffs of these missions and their spouses. Members of the diplomatic staff are the members of the staff of the mission having diplomatic rank. These persons, with the exception of those identified by asterisks, enjoy full immunity under provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The Diplomatic List is prepared by the Office of Protocol. A diplomatic agent’s family members are entitled to the same immunities unless they are United States nationals. [The US Diplomatic List contains an asterisk next to the name of Farahnaz Ispahani.*] ASTERISKS (*) IDENTIFY UNITED STATES NATIONALS/CITIZENS.”
The EmbassyPage: “Currently, the United States maintains 168 embassies abroad as well as 133 consulates and 15 other representations. The American capital Washington hosts 178 embassies, and in addition there are 1205 consulates and 30 other representations in the United States.”
Is PPPP MNA Farahnaz Ispahani, wife of Husain Haqqani, serving Pakistani or American interests in the Presidency and the National Assembly of Pakistan?
Is Husain Haqqani, the alleged narrator of the infamous Zardari-Haqqani treasonous memo, also an American Citizen/National, an American Green Card holder, or a US work permit holder?
Who will seriously and legally implement/enforce Articles 6, 62, 63 and 65 of the Constitution of Pakistan?
ELECTION COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN (ECP)
ECP Press Release – 19 December 2011
ECP BARS DUAL-NATIONALITY HOLDERS FROM CONTESTING ELECTIONS
Islamabad, Pakistan, 19 December 2011 (AdeebMedia.com) – Mr. Ishtiak Ahmed Khan, Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), has said that the ECP has declared individuals with dual nationalities ineligible to take part in elections and has, therefore, issued a directive for ensuring its strict implementation for Returning Officers to obtain a declaration on oath from all the persons filing Nomination Papers for an election to a seat in the Parliament [National Assembly and Senate] or a Provincial Assembly [of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber and Balochistan].
Mr. Ishtiak Khan further said that the ECP has, according to Article 63(1)(c) of the [Pakistan] Constitution read with Section 99 (1A) (c) of the Representation of the People Act, 1976, observed that the law disqualifies such people from being elected, or chosen as, and from being a member of the Parliament, if “he ceases to be a citizen of Pakistan or acquires the citizenship of a foreign state.”
Article 63(1)(c) of the Constitution is reproduced here which says: “A person shall be disqualified from being elected or chosen as, and from being, a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament), if he ceases to be a citizen of Pakistan or acquires the citizenship of a foreign state.”
This provision of the Constitution is being implemented for the first time in the Senate bye-election in KPK, for which the nomination papers are to be submitted on 20th & 21st December 2011, and the polling will take place on 4th January 2012 at Provincial Assembly Building, Peshawar.
